WHAT’S BREWING AT THE RAKE

Introducing….drumroll please… the Beet Saison! Our head brewer, Dave, has been quietly masterminding this one for quite some time, and it’s finally arrived at the Rake.

Brewed with malted barley, rye, and cane sugar for a bright, dry finish, this farmhouse ale gets its subtle earthy sweetness and gorgeous rosy hue from our fresh farm-grown beets. Hops, orange peel, and ginger round things out with a zesty citrus lift and just a touch of spice, making it approachable, flavourful, and connected to the land here on our little farm by the sea on Vancouver Island. Available on tap and in cans while supplies last!

But that’s not all…we also have a new seasonal sour on the horizon. Say hello to the latest member of the Captain Von Tart family — Blackberry Sour. Light, tart, and endlessly drinkable, this refreshing sour is brewed with blackberry purée for juicy berry flavour balanced by a crisp finish and just the right amount of tang. At 5% ABV, it’s bright, approachable, and made for sunny afternoons, patio pints, and anyone who likes their beer with a little personality. Keep your eyes peeled for this one hitting the tap room soon.

What's Brewing at the Rake – upcoming beer releases from Rusted Rake Brewing, including the Beet Saison, Captain Von Tart Blackberry Sour, and Beastly Double IPA collaboration.

And, we’re still not done…we’re also excited to announce a collaboration with our friends at Beach Fire Brewing Company in Campbell River. The Beastly Double IPA, made without any US ingredients, is bold, unapologetically BC-made, and will blow your socks off if they’re not pulled up high. Stay tuned for more details including release date.
